First, the jaw plate material selection

Jaw crusher jaw plate needs to wear, impact resistance, high toughness under the conditions of service, different manufacturers used jaw plate material is different, common high manganese steel, manganese steel, alloy cast iron, medium carbon low Alloy wear-resistant steel, high-chromium cast iron and so on. Medium carbon low alloy wear-resistant steel is based on the carbon steel by adding a variety of alloying elements such as Cr, Si, Mn, Mo, V and the total content of the alloy is less than 5%, such medium carbon low alloy Wear-resistant steel can be properly adjusted for different carbon content and alloying elements, so you can match the different heat treatment process to get different mechanical properties, so get more attention and application. In this paper, the wear resistance of ZG42Mn2Si1REB in medium carbon low alloy is studied, and the change of hardness and wear resistance with quenching temperature is discussed, and a good heat treatment process is obtained.

Second, the choice of heat treatment process

According to the characteristics of ZG42Mn2Si1REB steel, after considering the quenching of martensite has a higher hardness and good wear resistance. Heat treatment process selection 870 ℃, 900 ℃, 930 ℃ three temperature points, the tempering temperature uniform fixed to 230 ℃, the material does not contain Mo elements, in order to ensure hardenability, the use of 5% Nacl solution for cooling.

Third, the results and analysis

1, quenching temperature on the hardness and wear resistance of the impact

The HR-150A Rockwell hardness tester was used to measure the hardness of the samples after quenching at different temperatures. Each time the five points were measured and then averaged, it was found that the quenching hardness increased first and then decreased with the increase of quenching temperature. When the quenching temperature is 870 ℃, the hardness is HRC53. When the quenching temperature increased to 900 ℃, hardness also increased to HRC55. This shows that the temperature increases, the hardness also increased; when the temperature continues to increase to 930 ℃, the hardness has declined, for the HRC54, by comparison can be found in 900 ℃ quenching higher hardness. Thus, with the increase in temperature, wear and tear weight is reduced. When the temperature continues to rise to 930 ℃, the wear and weight has increased, 3.5mg, showing that at 900 ℃ quenching, its high hardness, lack of wear and tear, medium carbon low alloy wear-resistant steel ZG42Mn2Si1REB has a good anti-wear Performance, but also shows that the process at this time is the right heat treatment process.

2, medium carbon low alloy and high manganese steel wear resistance comparison

In order to illustrate the superiority of wear resistance of medium carbon alloy steel ZG42Mn2Si1REB, the material and high manganese steel ZGMn13 were compared with each other. Which ZG42Mn2Si1REB in accordance with the aforementioned 900 ℃ quenching 230 ℃ tempering process conditions for samples, high manganese steel ZGMn13 using water toughness treatment. The experimental results show that the wear resistance of the former is 1.5 times that of the latter, indicating that the carbon low alloy steel jaw plate under the appropriate heat treatment process conditions, give full play to the potential of the material , With excellent wear resistance.
